AIRBORNE WELCOMES
BRAD TURNER TO THE AIRBORNE TEAM
(CALGARY, AB -
June 15th, 2004) -
Airborne Technologies (Airborne) is
pleased to welcome Mr. Brad Turner
to the Airborne group of companies.
Reporting
to Airborne co-founder Richard Knoll,
Mr. Turner will assume a business
development role with a focus on the
Alberta Energy Sector. "Brad
will be a tremendous asset to the
Airborne team as we strive to secure
our first commercial agreement in
Alberta and build a foundation for
profitable expansion" said Knoll.
An
experienced Executive, Mr. Turner
has been involved in the growth and
management of numerous businesses
in myriad industries with in-depth
experience in the Alberta Oil and
Gas sectors.
Airborne Technologies is a Calgary,
Canada based Private Corporation that
has developed and has exclusive rights
to myriad patents throughout the world
for an advanced pollution control
process (the Airborne ProcessTM) for
use in the Energy Sector and other
industrial applications. The Airborne
ProcessTM addresses a global concern
by removing acid rain causing sulphur
dioxide (SO2) and sulphur trioxide
(SO3), smog producing nitrogen oxide
(NOX) and mercury from emissions.
The scrubbing agent used to remove
the pollutants is sodium bicarbonate.
Unlike other scrubbing procedures,
the sodium bicarbonate is regenerated
in the process reducing operating
costs, increasing efficiencies, reducing
waste and most notably, the Airborne
ProcessTM turns the sulphur and nitrogen
pollutants into a high-quality granular
fertilizer. The Airborne ProcessTM
allows the benefits of otherwise distressed
natural resources to be maximized
in an economical and environmentally
responsible manner.
