Airborne Technologies
is a Calgary, Canada based Private Corporation that has developed and has exclusive rights to myriad patents throughout the world for an advanced pollution control process (the Airborne ProcessTM) for use in the Energy Sector and other industrial applications. The Airborne ProcessTM addresses a global concern by removing acid rain causing sulphur dioxide (SO2) and sulphur trioxide (SO3), smog producing nitrogen oxide (NOX) and mercury from emissions. The scrubbing agent used to remove the pollutants is sodium bicarbonate. Unlike other scrubbing procedures, the sodium bicarbonate is regenerated in the process reducing operating costs, increasing efficiencies, reducing waste and most notably, the Airborne ProcessTM turns the sulphur and nitrogen pollutants into a high-quality granular fertilizer. The Airborne ProcessTM allows the benefits of otherwise distressed natural resources to be maximized in an economical and environmentally responsible manner.
